This template provides the statutory minimum employment contract required under UK law. It is designed to meet your legal obligation to issue written terms, but it does not include additional protective clauses for your business.

Before issuing this contract, you must carefully read our Employment Contract Guide and LG002. Do not issue this contract until you have reviewed these documents and considered whether additional protections are required.
